Alaska’s commemorative plane debuts inkjet printing

Alaska Airlines’ newest commemorative aircraft, in celebration of the Pacific coastline, was the first to get its new livery with a inkjet printing process developed by Boeing. The technology gives designers more creative freedom, and allows the design to be printed almost instantly instead of having to wait for layers of paint to dry.
