Albertsons is seeing results from an initiative that involves two-hour sessions with 25 to 30 employees and a facilitator discussing the grocer’s drive toward more diversity, Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer Jonathan Mayes said during the annual Food Marketing Conference. The “Leading With Inclusion” programs, part of an overall push by the company for a more diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace, focus on five key points and end by asking attendees what they will do to advance social justice and bring about positive change.
