Alder Fuels stresses importance of feedstocks to SAF production

Alder Fuels, a sustainable aviation fuel pioneer whose partners include United Airlines, is using forest residue as feedstock and is even looking ahead to using grasses that potentially could remove more carbon from the environment than they produce, said CEO Bryan Sherbacow. “It’s really important to understand that in energy, the most important variable is going to be your raw material,” Sherbacow said in an interview.
