Amazon to focus “returnship” career program on women

Amazon will expand its “returnship” career training program, intending to get as many as 1,000 women who became unemployed during the pandemic into new jobs. “Women are the primary caretakers in our society, and this program will be predominantly for them,” said Alex Mooney, Amazon’s senior diversity talent acquisition program manager.
