American Airlines executive: Pre-departure Testing requirement “nonsensical”

As airlines push to remove COVID-19 testing requirements for inbound international passengers, American Airlines CEO Robert Isom called the policy “nonsensical” and said it is holding back recovery of international travel. “I think we’re all frustrated, we’re really frustrated, and this is something that is damaging not only to US travel, but it just doesn’t make sense,” Isom said.
