American Airlines extends alcohol sales ban into 2022

American Airlines is extending its pandemic-prompted ban on sales of alcohol to main cabin passengers until at least Jan. 18, 2022. The airline previously extended the ban, initiated early in the pandemic, back in May following protests from flight attendants and a rise in incidents involving disruptive passengers.
