American Airlines moves up Cadet Academy graduates

Keith Taylor and Damion Washington are the first graduates of American Airlines’ Cadet Academy to secure posts in American’s mainline fleet. They have flown for American’s Envoy Air subsidiary since getting their pilot’s wings in 2018. “The Cadet Academy offered financing, the connection to American Airlines — which was who I had always wanted to fly for — and pilot mentoring,” said Taylor.
