American Airlines: “We’re seeing fantastic demand”

American Airlines flew 40,000 people to the US on 150 inbound international flights as borders reopened to passengers Nov. 8. “We’re seeing fantastic demand. People want to get out on the road,” Robert Isom, the airline’s president, told Yahoo Finance. “There are families and grandparents that haven’t seen, you know, children in a long time. Business people that really want to get out and make contact with customers, you know, it’s all over the place.”
