American names finance exec to head cargo division

American Airlines has named finance executive Greg Schwendinger president of its cargo division and former president Jessica Tyler will become vice president for the carrier’s integrated operations center. “The combination of broad airline knowledge with deep cargo industry expertise in this new leadership structure positions American Airlines Cargo to continue its growth momentum of the past few years and expand on its potential,” the airline said.
