American pilot credits father for success

American Airlines pilot Maxine Rodriguez credits her success to the support and work ethic of her father, an American Airlines Aircraft Line Maintenance supervisor at Miami International Airport who has worked in aviation for the last 42 years. “Every penny I saved went toward her flying lessons,” said William Rodriguez. “As long as she was willing to put in the work and persevere, I promised to be there for her.”
