American raises nearly $1.5M for global COVID-19 fight

American Airlines has raised almost $1.5 million in less than a month, with the help of AAdvantage frequent flyers, to help the American Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies respond to COVID-19 crises in India, Brazil and other countries. “While we have made great strides in the United States, countries around the world are still struggling,” said Ron DeFeo, senior vice president of global engagement.
