American to provide financing options for student pilots

American Airlines has announced new financing options aimed at alleviating financial hurdles for students in its cadet training academy through the American Airlines Credit Union. A “critical part” of American’s efforts to grow and diversify its talent “is our commitment to find more innovative ways to reach young, aspiring aviators and support them, financially and through mentorship, on their path to a career in aviation,” said Christina Flores, managing director of aviation recruiting and programs.
