Ahead of the busy holiday shipping season, UPS showcased its automatic package sorting facility in Houston, TX, where the packages are passed through machines, photographed and sorted electronically. “Ninety percent of our package flow will go through our automated facilities by the end of the year,” said UPS Operations Manager Derek Wood.
