Appeal is in the food at forthcoming Appellation hotels

The first of a chain of upscale hotels built around haute cuisine is scheduled to open late next year in the California wine region city of Healdsburg. The founders, noted chef Charlie Palmer and Christopher Hunsberger, formerly of Four Seasons, have two more hotels in the pipeline under the Appellation name.
