Asian hotel moguls delve into metaverse

Millennium Hotels and Resorts and Regal Hotels Group purchased virtual properties in two blockchain video game platforms — Decentraland and the Sandbox — a place where individuals can build, buy and sell in-game assets and gather in virtual reality. The hotel groups are among the first to delve into the metaverse with their in-game personas, M Social Decentraland and MetaGreen, respectively.
