Atlas celebrates pilot’s Hispanic heritage

In an effort to highlight Hispanic colleagues and culture, Atlas Air interviewed Federico Mendoza — the first pilot in his family — about how Mendoza’s heritage supported a career in flight. “I drew inspiration from my family and their achievements – it helped me keep my dream alive,” Mendoza said. “I’m part of a very large, extended family. It was the village model that raised me and kept me on the right path.”
