Atlas Air recently detailed its career path for crew schedulers and air operation analysts, a key role supporting the cargo carrier’s flight and scheduling logistics operations. “The job was a perfect fit,” said Timea Kovach, a manager of crew scheduling with Atlas Air, who, despite being a pilot, took up the job as a way to stay involved with aviation while pursuing a new type of career.
