Bahamas tourism head bullish in face of Moody’s doubts

Bahamas Hotel and Tourism Association President Robert Sands insists the territory can recover “much of its pre-pandemic volumes” of visitors by early 2022, despite a Moody’s forecast pushing a full rebound to 2024. While health and safety protocols have been tightened, the CDC last month designated The Bahamas a “Level 4: COVID-19 Very High” destination, the highest risk for travelers.
