Two Courses Available
Travel advisors can take advantage of the general course, which provides information on Puerto Rico’s key attractions and can learn about the island’s varied accommodation options and meeting facilities. Travel advisors will also learn about Puerto Rico’s offerings for special interests such as family travelers, couples, singles and active travelers.
In-Depth Training
The General Course consists of 4 chapters that take travel advisors through everything they need to know to successfully sell the destination.
Chapters include an overview; a chapter on where to stay, hold meetings and celebrate; Puerto Rico for families; a guide for couples traveling to Puerto Rico.
Master’s Course
A Master’s Course is also available through the same program that provides even more information on the special interests of clients. This part of the program provides in-depth, comprehensive information on Puerto Rico’s options for scuba divers, golfers, nature and adventure lovers, explorers, destination wedding and honeymoon clients, cruisers and more.
Those who complete the Master’s Course are certified as a Master Graduate.

Continuing Education Units
Travel advisors have the chance to earn four Continuing Education Units from the Travel Institute upon completion of both the General Course and Master’s Course. Members of the Association of Canadian Travel Agencies (ACTA) can receive three credits.

Once travel advisors complete the general course, they are able to take advantage of Puerto Rico’s loyalty program, earning points on every booking they make. Graduates receive rewards that range from gift cards to an invite to a FAM trip.
