Beyond Green Welcomes Seven New Sustainable Hotels

Beyond Green, a global portfolio of some of the world’s most sustainable lodgings, has added seven new properties this fall, including four new andBeyond properties. These newly included hotels adhere to over 50 sustainability indicators and align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. They are also part of the I Prefer Hotel Rewards Program, Preferred Travel Group’s loyalty program that allows guests to earn and redeem points at over 650 hotels and resorts worldwide.

“We’re excited to welcome these seven new properties to our expanding global portfolio, including our inaugural locations in the United Kingdom, Austria, and Botswana,” said Lindsey Ueberroth, CEO of Beyond Green. “With each addition, we continue to uphold our commitment to using travel as a positive force for change, fostering a sustainable and responsible future for travelers and the planet.”

New Beyond Green Properties

  1. Swinton Park Hotel
    Located in Ripon, Yorkshire Dales, Swinton Park Hotel is set in a Grade II-listed castle amid 200 acres of scenic parkland. Guests can enjoy dishes from Michelin-trained chefs using estate-grown produce and engage in nature experiences such as wild swimming and falconry. The hotel operates a biomass boiler, features a chemical-free pool, and plants one tree per guest stay in partnership with local conservation organizations.
  2. SCP Corcovado Wilderness Lodge
    Nestled in Corcovado National Park, Costa Rica, this retreat offers immersive nature experiences across 250,000 acres of biodiversity. SCP Corcovado sources 70% of its energy from renewables, eliminates single-use plastics, and promotes clean water access for local residents.
  3. Bio- and Wellnessresort Stanglwirt
    Located in Austria’s Kitzbühel Alps, this 400-year-old property features wellness programs, saunas, and horseback riding, all powered by a biomass plant and hydroelectric station. Guests enjoy water sourced from the pristine Kaiserquelle spring and food from an onsite organic farm.
  4. andBeyond Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp
    Situated in Botswana’s Okavango Delta, this camp offers a boutique safari experience with nine elevated tented suites. It sources 80% of its energy through a photovoltaic plant and Tesla Powerpack Battery Energy Storage System.
  5. andBeyond Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge
    This lodge features suites inspired by nature, utilizing local craftsmanship and materials. It’s the first in the Delta to use a solar power plant, supplying 70% of its energy.
  6. andBeyond Xaranna Okavango Delta Camp
    Located on a private island in the Okavango Delta, this luxury camp offers nine tents with private plunge pools. It generates 80% of its energy through an advanced solar system.
  7. andBeyond Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp
    Situated in Masai Mara, Kenya, this camp overlooks the Saparingo River, providing a prime spot for the Great Migration. It implements solar water heating and invests in local Maasai communities through education and healthcare initiatives.

These new additions reinforce Beyond Green’s commitment to promoting sustainable travel and enriching the guest experience in some of the world’s most extraordinary locations.
