Biden calls for DOD to embrace diversity at all levels

President Joe Biden visited the Pentagon for the first time as president on Wednesday, joined by Vice President Kamala Harris and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin. The president called for the military to embrace diversity, saying, “It’s long past time that the full diversity and full strength of our forces is reflected at every level of this department, including our secretary of defense.”
