Biden to outline plan for small-business relief

President-elect Joe Biden is expected to discuss a plan today that would provide direct relief to small businesses, a transition spokesperson told CNN. In addition, Biden intends to “reiterate his commitment to rooting out waste, fraud and abuse and ensuring federal assistance goes to the businesses who not only deserve it, but are playing a role in rebuilding their communities,” the representative said. The president-elect has also revealed plans designed to speed up the pace of COVID-19 vaccinations through increased federal assistance.
