Biden tourism plan wins qualified plaudits from USTA

President Biden’s new National Travel and Tourism Strategy is a welcome step toward reversing the massive loss of international tourism dollars from the pandemic, but more needs to be done, US Travel Association president Roger Dow says. “There is a lot of work ahead, but the administration must start by immediately repealing the pre-departure testing requirement for all vaccinated international air travelers and taking steps to drastically lower visa wait times,” Dow says.
