Black women forge engineering careers at American

American Airlines is highlighting the stories of four Black women with backgrounds in engineering and computer sciences who have made careers at the airline after graduating from historically Black institutions. “Engineering is a great profession for people who like to solve problems and make an impact,” says Candace Johnson, a compliance specialist who assures that engineers’ work meets quality standards.
