BOC Aviation orders 20 new A320neo aircraft

BOC Aviation Limited has ordered 20 new Airbus A320neo aircraft, with a selection of these set to be leased to new customer Avianca, based in Bogota, Colombia.

A minimum of ten, and up to 12 of the A320neo aircraft have been committed for lease to Avianca, with Robert Martin, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of BOC Aviation welcoming the airline as a new customer and adding: “We congratulate the airline on its 100th anniversary.”

“This addition of 20 new Airbus A320NEO aircraft reflects our disciplined investment strategy of building our portfolio with popular and in-demand new technology aircraft that provide reliability and operational efficiency. With this order, this brings our total Airbus aircraft purchased since inception to 470 aircraft. We are proud to continue building on our long-standing relationship with Airbus,” he added.
