Boeing to use SAF on passenger flights in Wash., S.C.

Boeing is buying 2 million gallons of blended sustainable aviation fuel from EPIC Fuel to power its commercial airplane operations in Washington and South Carolina through 2022. “SAF is a safe, proven, immediate solution that will help achieve our industry’s long-term commitment to net zero carbon emissions by 2050,” said Boeing’s Sheila Remes.
