During this wave season, Carnival Cruise Line is offering an exciting opportunity for travel advisors to significantly increase their earnings. The company is reintroducing its “AMP Up Challenge,” a promotion specifically designed to enable travel advisors to boost their commission rates, potentially reaching up to an impressive 15% on bookings completed by March 31.
Adolfo Perez, the Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Trade Marketing at Carnival Cruise Line, emphasizes the growth trajectory for travel agency partners as we step into 2024. He notes, “The ‘AMP Up Challenge’ is our way of adding fuel to this growth trajectory. It’s an initiative to further accelerate our partners’ success, encouraging them to leverage their sales skills to attain higher commission tiers. Given that it’s wave season, it’s the perfect timing for agents to capitalize on this opportunity and reap the rewards throughout the year.”
To participate in this lucrative promotion, travel advisors are required to opt-in online. Eligibility is limited to agencies based in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada, which currently fall into the 11 to 15 percent commission brackets.
These agencies have a clear target: they must achieve specific sales goals by March 31. Upon meeting these targets, the enhanced commission rates will be applicable to bookings made from April 1 through December 31. This initiative not only incentivizes higher sales but also offers a tangible reward for the hard work and dedication of travel advisors, promising a more profitable year ahead.
