Slovakia drops both the e-Boarder registration mandate, as well as the quarantine for non-vaccinated travellers mandate as of April 6th 2022.

Travellers entering Slovakia will not be required to register in the so-called e-Boarder, the equivalent of ePLF, after Wednesday 6th April 2022. Mandatory quarantine for non-vaccinated travellers will be dropped on the same day.

Slovakia joins the list of countries, which dropped their boarder restrictions lately. As of Wednesday, 6th April 2022, it is no longer mandatory to get registered in the e-Boarder registry. Moreover, non-vaccinated travellers will not be required to undertake mandatory quarantine if arriving after 6th April. Visitors of Slovakia will enjoy seamless arrival and less pre-travel byrocracy thanks to the dropped mandates.

With Omicron wave on the descend and the virus spread under control, one of the latest public health precautions remaining in place in Slovakia is the face mask mandate in public buildings and public vehicles. Wearing the face covering is still required in public offices, shops, other public buildings and on mass events indoors. If the pandemic situation remains under control, the mask mandate could be dropped later in April.

In this S22 IATA season, Bratislava will have connection with 35 destinations by direct scheduled routes, including London, Milan, Copenhagen or Dubai. The network from Bratislava is back to 80% of its pre-Covid size, with some destinations being replaced by newer ones.
