Carbon-zero by 2050? Not just PR, Marriott CEO asserts

Marriott International has joined the more then 200 companies pledging to reach zero carbon emissions by 2040, but the world’s largest hotel chain is giving itself 10 extra years as it considers a footprint that includes a pipeline of 2,750 properties. “If all we ever do is make the announcement, then I’ve not done my job,” says CEO Anthony Capuano.
