CDC’s new travel advisory based on health threat levels
The CDC released updated pandemic guidance for international travelers with recommendations for unvaccinated and fully vaccinated people, according to USA Today and CNN. The guidance classifies destinations into four levels, and risk is highest in level 4 countries, which have documented more than 500 cases per 100,000 people in the past four weeks. The update moved 33 countries, including Iceland, Israel and Singapore, into the lowest risk category, which report less than 50 cases per 100,000 people.
