Chef JJ Johnson calls for inclusion in restaurant industry

Chef and restaurateur JJ Johnson launched rice bowl concept FieldTrip in 2019 in New York City’s Harlem, created a program to feed hospital workers and low-income residents during the pandemic and is taking a lead role in speaking out about the need for diversity and social justice in the restaurant industry. Johnson is one of 50 restaurant industry leaders named to the Nation’s Restaurant News 2021 Power List, which incorporated an inclusion element for the first time this year.
