China is moving forward with resuming Boeing 737 MAX deliveries following a release of a technical report

Boeing’s 737 MAX deliveries to Chinese airlines have taken a step closer, following the release of an evaluation report by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) on 14 April 2023.

The report has been sent to Chinese airlines, allowing them to begin taking deliveries of the 737 MAX when they choose to do so, according to Reuters. China was one of the first countries to ground the aircraft following two fatal accidents.

David Calhoun, the President and CEO of Boeing, confirmed that of the 95 737 MAX aircraft delivered to Chinese airlines, 45 were in service.
