Chinese booking site grows despite anti-monopoly pinch

New Chinese government regulatory pressures on online hotel booking platforms haven’t kept Meituan, one of the nation’s leading providers, from expanding in the third quarter and increasing its five-star hotel clientele. Meituan reports it was assessed a $532 million penalty for anti-monopoly violations, or about 3% of its revenues.
