Clemson students with disabilities staff new upscale hotel

The first luxury boutique hotel in Clemson, S.C., dubbed Shepherd Hotel, is doubling as a hands-on teaching vehicle for Clemson University students with intellectual disabilities seeking careers in hospitality. “A shepherd’s number one job is to serve and we want to serve guests, our team and the community,” says Dabo Swinney, Clemson’s head football coach and a partner in the project.
