Colo. community looks to hotels for transit worker housing

Transportation officials in Glenwood Springs, Colo., plan to acquire a hotel for conversion to housing for employees and may make similar moves in the future with help from a new city ordinance. The measure eases code requirements for conversions as a means of alleviating staff shortages that are due partly to lack of living space.
