Couple gets married on Southwest flight
When their original plans fell through, a couple was married on a Southwest Airlines flight to Las Vegas last week with a fellow passenger performing as the ordained minister and flight attendant Julie Reynolds as maid of honor. The flight attendants thought “‘OK, how can we make this special for them with the limited resources that we have?'” Reynolds said, so they “got some toilet paper and made little streamers,” then “had everyone turn on their call light so it kind of lit it up nicely.” “We are called the LUV airline,” Reynolds said, referencing Southwest’s New York Stock Exchange symbol.
