CAP’s continuous efforts awarded with important safety certification.

Willemstad, January 11, 2022 – It is with great pleasure that Management of Curaçao Airport Partners N.V. (CAP) received notification of our airport being awarded once again with the Airports Council International (ACI) Airport Health Accreditation. For CAP this re-accreditation is an important milestone, especially as we globally continue to fight the ongoing pandemic with all the effects on the aviation industry.

CAP is extremely proud to see its continuous efforts to keep all personnel, passengers, visitors, and stakeholders safe, redound in such important accreditation. The organization has worked tirelessly to ensure a safe work, travel, and visit experience at all times.

“The process for this accreditation is an opportunity to continuously test the processes in order to ensure that the best possible practices of health and safety guidelines are provided throughout the daily operations. With the steady increase in air traffic to and from our island, we are more aware than ever on the importance of safety during these times. Each and every person must feel and be safe, and that is our number one priority. This accreditation is for the next 12 months, and we are committed to maintaining the level of safety and care throughout this year” said Mr. Norman Gómez, Managing Director of CAP.

This accreditation from the most important organization in the aviation and airport industry worldwide, serves as an important measuring tool for tourists visiting our island to feel safe during their travels as we continue to try to find a balance throughout the evolving pandemic.

“We look positively into the future and know the important role we play in the chain when it comes to the process of rebuilding and the fortification of the various economic pillars of our community. Our airport, one of the most important doorways of our island, is a safe place thanks to the collective efforts of all stakeholders, including our community. For that we are grateful. Together we shall overcome”, Mr. Gómez ended.
