Delta appoints first chief health officer

Delta Air Lines has named Dr. Henry Ting to the new position of chief health officer, who CEO Ed Bastian said will be charged with “rethinking and reimagining our approach to health and well-being, utilizing new technologies, artificial intelligence, data strategies and innovative partnerships.” Ting comes to Delta from its partner, the Mayo Clinic, where he serves as the enterprise chief value officer.
