Delta customer center creates high school apprenticeship

Delta Air Lines’ has created a unique high school apprenticeship program at a Chisholm, Minn., high school that gives local seniors part-time employment as well as a potential boost into a career with reservations, sales and customer care at Delta. “The area that we live in doesn’t have a lot of opportunities necessarily, aside from the mining industry,” said Reservation Sales & Customer Care Brand Advisor Scott Engman, who created the program with his wife, a high school principal.
