Delta designs airports for “walking speed”
Delta Air Lines is implementing infrastructure upgrades and digital technology in airports across the country that allow customers to go through an airport at “walking speed” — at their own pace, hands-and touch-free. Some of the features at recently upgraded airports include a 250-foot LED digital backwall in the check-in lobby, digital identity technology powered by TSA PreCheck and PARALLEL REALITY screens that show personalized information for up to 100 customers at a time.
