Delta pilot’s time capsule note recovered

Taken aback at the sight of so many parked aircraft due to the pandemic, Delta Air Lines First Officer Chris Dennis left a note taped to a tray table of the Airbus A321 he had helped fly to the California desert in March 2020, and it was recovered as he anticipated more than a year later. “If you are here to pick it up then the light must be at the end of the tunnel,” he said in the note, adding, “Have a safe flight bringing it out of storage!”
