Denver weighs expansion of hotel use for homeless

Denver city officials want to broaden a pandemic-spurred program that deployed hundreds of hotel and motel rooms to house homeless people. A City Council committee has approved an $11.13 million contract extension with the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless, which would fund up to 810 rooms to be used for transition to permanent housing.
