Connecticut’s Shore Line East, with daily service from New Haven to New London, is now serviced by electric Kawasaki M8 EMU trains, which began running this week. In addition to being carbon-free, the new trains have electric outlets at each seat and upgraded luggage racks, seats and restrooms.
