Reading about bias and discrimination is one thing — experiencing it, even if only as part of a training course, is another. In an effort to take employee training on these matters to the next level, tech startup Praxis Labs has developed a virtual reality platform that creates immersive experiences in which participants find themselves assigned a different gender, race, body size, etc., and then must navigate various forms of discrimination at work.
