FAA seeks design submissions for ATC towers

The Federal Aviation Administration is asking engineers and architects across the country to submit sustainable designs for air traffic control towers at regional and municipal airports, as over 100 aging towers will need to be replaced soon. “We want architects and engineers from every corner of the country to help build the safe and sustainable towers of the future,” Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg said.
