FAA: Zero tolerance policy for crackdown on unruly behavior passengers will be permanent

The Federal Aviation Administration has made its “zero tolerance” policy for passengers misbehaving on airline flights permanent. The FAA started levying stiff fines and referring egregious cases for prosecution in 2021 in an effort to stem the increase in misbehavior caused substantially by passengers objecting to the former face covering requirement.
