FAA’s climate plan focuses on fuel, technology

The Federal Aviation Administration’s Aviation Climate Action Plan focuses on supporting development of sustainable jet fuel and low-emissions technology. “Our Centers of Excellence plays an important role along with our partnership with NASA and their sustainable flight national partnership program, looking at the next narrowbody aircraft in the 2030 timeframe,” said Kevin Welsh, executive director of the FAA’s Office of Environment & Energy.
