FedEx, Microsoft partner on e-commerce analytics tool
FedEx and Microsoft are collaborating on a project that uses Microsoft business applications, artificial intelligence and machine learning to analyze delivery data and get insights related to the 17 million packages handled by FedEx daily. The resulting “logistics as a service” tool will “help organizations accelerate their digital transformation across their business operations so they can offer customers more integrated ways to shop, and faster, more efficient deliveries,” Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella says.
