FedEx, UPS join federal program to ease supply chain

FedEx and UPS are among 36 companies joining the Transportation Department’s Freight Logistics Optimization Works, or FLOW, pilot program, which aims to ease port congestion by enabling participants to exchange data. Other participants include C.H.Robinson, Target and the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.
