Female hotel-design team honors woman-power landmark

An all-female company is blending history with invisible service and themed decor in reviving an 1850s Philadelphia rowhouse that became a base for an influential women’s advocacy organization more than a century ago. “Each room is completely different, but the common thread through all of them is celebrating the story of each woman,” says Kate Rohrer, owner of Rohrer Creative, designer of the Washington Square West’s Guild House.
